“I’m here now and everything will be alright.” -Here now, and forever The castle was once again standing radiant and strong. He had held the queen's heart and infused it with his love. The trees were rustling against the wind, spreading the news far and wide. The animals had come back to the garden, hopping … Continue reading In the depths of her mind
A beautiful poem written down by Varnika Jain. Depicts how a person can become someone’s entire world and chase away the nightmares and the darkness.
She sought him in her nightmares
She sought him in her dreams
When she woke up
She could hardly tell
The one from the other
Since he saved her in her nightmares
And she lost him in her dreams
The one became the other
Somewhere in between.
So she took to sleeping with him
Held closely in her arms
The warmth that he exuded
Ended the nightly tussle
And merged the happiness
Of the one with the other.
A beautiful tale of two souls finding love in the most serendipitous ways. Published by Varnika Jain.
In his frantic attempts to find his way back to the caravan, he came across a sight that held his gaze. It looked like a formerly over trodden path which had, at some point in time, been overrun by weeds. Inviting, nonetheless. He followed the meandering path, curious about where it led while still trying to grasp how it had just suddenly appeared in front of him out of thin air even though he was quite sure he’d crossed that exact point atleast half a dozen times before since he’d been walking around in circles, completely lost.
Curiosity killed the cat, he kept reminding himself but his feet kept moving forward. It’s getting late and dark, it’s time to turn back and find shelter, not to go on a wild goose chase, he chastised himself. Yet, he could not bring himself to stray from that path.
After what felt…

It was a pleasant evening, with the sun dipping over the horizon. Insects were buzzing and the birds chirping as they returned to their homes, settling in for the night. The horizon turned orange with purple hues, with stars flickering through the evening sky. The pond reflected rays of the setting sun along it's shimmering … Continue reading By the pond
A beautiful poem composed by Varnika Jain. Evokes emotions and warmth inside the heart by conveying how two beings come together in this universe and anchor themselves to the other for all eternity. Do read and let me know what you think in the comment section.
I was floating around aimlessly,
Like some homeless space debris.
Not knowing what to do, where to go or where to drop anchor,
Because that all-knowing, all-telling, inner voice
Had long ago muted its strains.
By my own design or from the weight of the world – ‘Twas a secret I had no intention of unraveling.
I strayed into the vicinity of a dying star on its last dregs of fire, its hopelessness felt like a kindred pain.
I decided to stick around for some time, drawn towards its growing misery with a strong, gravitational pull.
Little by little, in the warmth of company, the star rekindled it’s blaze.
Till it glowed with a blinding light that sent me spinning around in ecstatic frenzy.
The muffled tones of my inner voice could now be heard anew. Stay, it said, as I danced around,
Like a moon making merry.

I was trotting through the wild, fog and mist surrounding the fern. Black clouds hovering above, casting shadow across the boscage. I was walking around, taking in the forest, smelling the mud, hearing the insects, seeing every minute detail in front of me.
I reached a clearing and saw another wolf, curled up next to a tree. She raised her head, brought her soulful eyes to rest on me. Thor Almighty, she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I walked upto her, looking deep in her eyes.
I touched my head to hers, my coat rubbing along hers. I licked her coat, grooming her. Nibbled at her fur, cleaning it up.
Slowly, she got up on her feet. Stood right in front of me. In an instant we realised, we were meant to be. We howled. We howled in chorus. In recognition of the counterpart of our…

He walked through the ancient ruins of a castle that once stood in splendour. Glass shattered and walls charred, he walked through the dry twigs and grass. He looked at the giant columns rising high, and the marble staircase that was once polished and smooth. The fountains in the garden had run dry. Plants and … Continue reading Here now, and forever
In parallel with The Celebration written by Varnika Jain. It had been five months. He kept thinking of the first time they met. With a smile on his face and love in his eyes, he thought of the five months with her. Cherishing each moment with her. It seemed as though life before her didn't exist. He didn't remember the world before she came to him. She was everything he'd ever need.
I found you one winter night, when the moon shone blue and stars flickered bright. I heard your words and stood tranquil. For your words soothed me, taking away my pains. A few moons passed and you took my hand, gave my your love and wrapped me in your heart. I took your hand and … Continue reading Eternally, yours
It was dark and cold. The earth was moist and the air heavy with fog. I walked through the trees, not knowing where I was going. In that darkness, I heard your voice. I followed the Stars and they guided me to you. As I came closer, I began feeling your presence. Your warmth irradiating, … Continue reading Aurora
